Brick Street Poetry Inc. presents Poetry Alive programs

for children at hospitals, parks, and libraries.

Poets give readings accompanied by colorfully costumed characters.

Email board@ brickstreetpoetry.org if your facility is interested in partnering on a future program, and check the Prophetstown calendar for information on the next event there on October 28th.

Brick Street Poetry received a 2017 Arts in the Parks grant to conduct three programs at Prophetstown State Park.  Thanks to this funding all children received Words and Other Wild Things  a book of poetry anthology for children and had help in writing poems of their own.  Words and Other Wild Things contains a variety of animal poems by poets from Indiana and around the world and is available on amazon.com.
